Modern full speckled brown paneled calf ruled with gold, and with raised bands, gold, and title/author/date on spine. New end papers. Hinges/joints strong. Probable 18th century owner’s name (E. B. Symes) on title page. Library marks (ink stamp and perforating embosser) on title page. Library stamp deeper within text block. Some scattered smudges, toning, and marginalia in ink and pencil. Fold out table has tear but present and complete. Margins well retained. Binding tight. 371 pages.
