Folio in vellum with red inkk title on front board. Vellum chipped and cracked in various places, some with repairs (now old). Cords within raised bands all exposed. Hinges cracked but joints secure. Front paste down lacking about 25%. Red page edges. Engraved title page printed in black, red, blue, and yellow. Half inch lacuna in one from on title engraving, with no substantive loss. Early small owner’s name penned at bottom of title page, possible “gulii bonitatij.” 1 ½ inch tear at bottom of Ffii, not into text. Damp stain at fore edge throughout most of volume, and variably at top and bottom margins, not into text. Mostly bright with variable mild toning. Binding tight. Decorative capitals and headpieces. Three engrvged title pages (general title in colors).
