Blind tooled full brown leather with raised bands and red title lable on spine. Large, thick octavo. Ruled in red. Decorative capitals. Five title pages (including one architectural date MDCLXXVIII). Includes apocrypha. Slight toning. A few small scattered smudges. A few leaves trimmed barely into the top edge running titles, and a few leaves trimeed near the ruling at the bottom edge. Most margins well retained well around red ruling. a 5 with old paper repairs. Ll7 with 2 inch tear into text without loss. Nn7 bottom edge with 1 inch tear with loss of 2 letters. Stain at bottom edges of F1 and F2 (with corresponding tear) in apocrypha with loss of a few letters. 3 inch tear at fore-edge of f3 in apocrypha wtih loss of a few letters (torn off fragment still present, loose inside). 4 inch tear without loss involving A7 in New Testament. K1 in New Testament with 1 inch tear at borrom without loss. P6 in New Testament with 2 inch tear at bottom without loss. Early owner's manuscript notes on front blanks.
